Longboat Key Town Manager Dave Bullock has made his first major hire – arguably for the most important position affecting the future of Longboat Key. On Monday, April 16 Robin Meyer was named the new Planning, Zoning & Building Director for Longboat Key.

The Town Commission reached consensus this week to put out a request for proposals to private consulting firms.
The commission debated the wisdom of spending about $125,000 on the process as well as the wisdom of not and using local experts and residents.
