Potable water main project almost complete

The town of Longboat Key has almost completed construction of the Potable Water Pipeline Upsizing Project. The pipeline project consists of the installation of about 18,000 lineal feet of a 12-inch to 16-inch diameter potable water main along the east side of Gulf of Mexico Drive.

Construction on Gulf of Mexico Drive

Construction has begun at the intersection of Gulf of Mexico Drive and St. Judes Drive to fix the concrete that split last month. The damage occurred after a six-inch water main breakage that occurred. According to Longboat Key Public Works Department, the work will be completed by the end of the day.
