About 50 Islandside Property Owners Coalition members exited Temple Beth Israel in a single mass exodus after the Town Planning and Zoning board amended a section of the code limiting non-residential development in all planned unit developments on Longboat Key. The board voted 7 to 2 in favor of changing how such non-residential development is calculated
