Longboat Island Chapel members vote “no” to cell tower

A cell tower at Longboat Island Chapel is not going to happen according to church officials. The Longboat Island Chapel Congregation voted overwhelmingly not to approve an extension of a three-year lease agreement for a cell tower to be built on the church property at a special members-only meeting held Sunday, April 14.
