Barbara Orear, Longboat Key water-media artist, has been chosen as the featured artist for September at Island Gallery West. Orear is a long-time member of the Island Gallery West artists’ cooperative, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The theme of her display is “The Pristine Beaches of Our Barrier Islands” and will feature Orear’s vibrant watercolors.
