Longboat Key armed robbery suspects arrested in Manatee

On April 10, an armed robber/attempted carjacking occurred at 2295 Gulf of Mexico Drive, Longboat Key, Florida.

Shortly after the robbery, the suspect vehicle was pursued by the Sarasota Police Department, and the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office to a residential neighborhood located in Manatee County, where the suspect vehicle was abandoned, all three suspects ran from the vehicle on foot.

Latarious Harvey — DOB: 12/22/1990 — was apprehended by a SPD K-9 as he fled the vehicle.

The Longboat Key Police Department identified the additional suspects as Travis D. Cooper DOB: 12/25/1991, who is an illegal immigrant from the Bahamas, and Eric D. Dudley DOB: 07/28/1990 of Bradenton.

Based on the investigation arrest warrants where obtained through the Sarasota Circuit Court.

On May 24,  Travis D. Cooper, and Eric Dudley were located and arrested without incident at 6016 1st Street East, Bradenton with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service.

All three suspects are being held at the Sarasota County Jail on Charges of Armed Robbery with a Firearm while Masked, and Attempted Armed Carjacking. All three are held on bonds ranging from $150,000 to $300,000.
