Lido condominium sells for $3.97 million

A condominium at the Ritz Carlton Beach Residences on Lido Key sold for $3.97 million this week. The condominium is unit 801 at 1300 Benjamin Franklin Drive, it represents the fifth-highest condominium sale in Sarasota in the past year. The 4,194 square-foot, three-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath condo has two terraces, marble and wood flooring, a custom upgrade gourmet chef’s kitchen and gas fireplace.

The buyer was not identified. The unit was owned by Big Family Holdings LLC of Bayville, New Jersey, according to property appraiser records.

 

Longboat condominiums sold for $1.85 million

A Kentucky company paid $1.85 million late last month for two condominium units in the Inn at the Beach on Longboat Key.

Pimlico Investments LLC, a company out of Louisville, Kentucky, bought the units in the property at 210 Sands Point Road on Longboat Key, according to records.

One of the units was a 1,294 square feet condominium and previously belonged to the Bendheim family, which paid $494,800 in June 1999 and sold to Pimlico for $950,000, records show.

The company paid $900,000 for the other, 1,380-square-foot unit, which formerly belonged to the Sellwood family. The Sellwoods bought it for $1.09 million in August 2005, records show.
