Catch of the Day!

Patrick DiPinto, Bird Key resident and Realtor® with Coldwell Banker Previews office on Longboat Key, was quite impressed when his 2-year old daughter, Abby, hooked and landed a monster 26-inch trout on her Barbie fishing pole right off the Tangerine Bay community on Longboat Key. “The Barbie pole from Walmart has maybe a 2 -pound test line, at best.  It’s really a toy!  Many people have told me that it might be a record for a monster trout this big. Abby really did catch it!  I’ve fished for trout for years and the biggest I have ever caught was 21-22 inches,” said DiPinto.  Pictured left to right: Samantha, Abby and Patrick DiPinto.
