Musician Arthur Ferrante’s condominium on market

Coldwell Banker’s Lynn Koy has listed the condominium belonging to the widow of Arthur Ferrante, of Ferrante & Teicher, for $2.3 million. The penthouse condominium is 2,500 square feet in the Longboat Key Club, and has three bedrooms, three baths and views of the Gulf of Mexico.

Arthur Ferrante died on Sept. 19, 2009, and was part of a musical partnership that involved 22 gold and platinum albums and was part of an easy-listening, piano-playing duo, who rose to fame in the 1950s, recorded 150 albums and had four top 10 hits with “Theme From The Apartment,” “Theme From Exodus,” “Tonight” and “Midnight Cowboy.”

In 2009, the buildings and property at 601 Longboat Club Road underwent $12 million in renovations.
