Christ Church began what will eventually be a complete move to its new site at 6400 Gulf of Mexico Drive. “La Bete,” written by David Hirson, is an attempt to mimic 17th century comedy theatre. Hirson even uses the names of some of Moliere’s own characters and also uses the names of some of the cast members of Moliere’s own acting troupe. Its presentation, including set and costumes, pays homage to the works of others, including interior designer Dorothy Draper and other “Modern Baroque” designers
