Christ Church began what will eventually be a complete move to its new site at 6400 Gulf of Mexico Drive. Last Thursday, the church’s office and administrative functions were moved to the existing office buildings that are pink. Buckley says they will be painted to match the church when the church is completed mid-summer

“La Bete,” written by David Hirson, is an attempt to mimic 17th century comedy theatre. The city of Sarasota is encouraging Sarasota business owners and those interested in locating within the city to apply for a new ad valorem tax exemption to encourage job creation. Improved property value or new equipment related to the new business creation or expansion will be eligible for an exemption of up to 100 percent for up to 10 years
