Longboat restaurateurs cross the bridge

Massimo Murri and Alessandro Danieli, owners of Longboat Key’s Re Federico, are proud to announce the opening of their new Downtown Sarasota hot spot. The duo opened their second restaurant, Enjoy, Wednesday, Sept. 1 on the southeast corner of Links and Main Street. This hip eatery will hold an Open House and ribbon cutting Sunday to welcome their Longboat diners, local dignitaries and the Longboat Key, Lido Key and St. Armands Chamber of Commerce with President Tom Aposporos and his staff.

“Longboat Key was our first love; by adding this Downtown restaurant we will be better prepared to service both locations,” said Danieli.

“Having two restaurants allows us to purchase the freshest food, hire the best employees and simplify our operations. The off-season in Longboat posed a challenge in retaining valued employees when we limited our hours. Now with a Downtown location, we can retain those employees; when we pull back our hours on the key, they can work in the Downtown location,” said Murri.

Enjoy is open for breakfast at 7 a.m. through lunch and dinner with a menu that offers something for everyone. The restaurant closes at 10 p.m., Sunday through Wednesday, and at 2:30 a.m., Thursday and Friday.

Everyone is cordially invited to attend the Open House extravaganza from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 5.
