Dolphin Towers damage more severe
Damage in the 15-story Dolphin Tower is more serious than previously thought, according to a building engineer.
Former residents were told cracks and corroded concrete in the tower’s fourth-floor support slab can be repaired within six months. The fourth floor is critical to supporting the building’s residential units. Testing revealed the transfer slab is sagging.
Residents were evacuated from the building at 101 South Gulfstream Avenue several weeks ago.
